Some way to evaluate a string as an expression. Writing what amounts to a number menu is not fun.

str->expr evaluations would require huge routines and would end up making programs gigantic.

I have a feature request.

I was thinking it would be cool if I could  O.Omodify the certificate pageO.O to remove the trial restriction on the compiled apps so they don't delete themselves after 16 runs.  Yes, I am well aware that this can be extremely dangerous if not coded properly which is why I want to make sure everyone is comfortable with it.  I would of course do extensive private testing before releasing it to the public.  The thing is, I don't know where to find the (un)documentation to do this, I checked WikiTI but couldn't find anything about how the OS operates that page.  So I will probably need a lot of help with this.
Yeah, don't touch that certificate. It would be far better to sign the app on-calc, if possible.

Auto indenting

This is the kind of feature you'd want a custom program editor for. It would be incredibly hard if not impossible to achieve automatic indenting with just a hook, and it would probably noticeably slow down the program editor.

I got a good chuckle at this. In all seriousness though this is probably going be more trouble than it's worth.

Ditto. You'd be modifying how the program editor displays lines on the fly. Also, since there is no scrolling, wouldn't that make things a bit cramped on only a 16 character display?

Not to mention the screen is rather small :P things would get bad looking very quickly.  This is the motivation I had a while back to make my own program editor, but it turned out to be quite a project :P

The certificate?  You brave soul.  I absolutely, positively had to unlock flash to get Crabcake to work, and even then, people suggested that I be very hesistant when proceeding.  Let alone touching the certificate

You can't properly sign it on-calc if you don't modify the certificate.

Sure you can. There's just a lot of maths involved to sign it properly, and Quigibo is interested in modifying the certificate so unsigned apps won't act weirdly.

Yeah, I tried ducksign recently and it signs apps on-calc in about 20 seconds (with a 15MHz calc) so speed is certainly not an issue and I could integrate a signer into Axe.  But I think setting the expiration count is more useful than actually signing it since the only reason to sign it is to transfer it to another calculator from your own calculator, while the expiration count affects the normal use of the program.  Although I still want an option for that eventually.

Ah, that's nice. But what's the purpose of modifying the certificate if we can sign apps without using it? Is it because signing an app is trickier/takes more time?

I'd like (if not already made, but I didn't find it, maybe I'm a noob) that the command
Line(X1,Y1,X2,Y2 ,0)
erases the line (draws a white line), as in Basic

I don't know either if it already is, but I thought about
"Automatic Power Down"

I don't believe there is a command to erase lines, and AFAIK I don't think it's going to be added onto the included commands anytime soon -- if would a great part of a line-drawing Axiom.

APD I believe is possible through either an Axiom and/or a small set of inline assembly opcodes.

APD is never turned off. It just is incapable of activating unless the OS has control of the calculator, which you can give to it by using getKeyr.
