That would probably be a good idea. In the meantime, you can use a ->var in the first set of brackets and use {var} in the second.

I was going to vote asm libs, but voted Geo Drawing since asm libs will probably not be allowed in contests.

I suspect Raylin will vote for geometry drawing (noticing his signature says his Axe entry is on hold until such feature is added) :P

Another thing I wonder:

When you install a language localization APP (like Français, which I used a lot until I started using Omnicalc/xLIB, which screws it up), all the commands in the CATALOG are re-ordered in the new alphabetical order they are in French. Do you think this could be possible for the new Axe tokens? I sometimes have an hard time finding some of them there (except Copy() of course) x.x

You would need to make sure they are ordered properly on 83+/SE calcs, though, since they have fewer commands than the 84+.

Okay, I've finished Axioms for the most part, I just have a few more things to tweak and more testing to do.  I updated the poll.  I won't go any higher than 4 options otherwise it will spread out the votes too much.  The "Update Documentation" idea would take me a long time to do, but it would involve writing a detailed commands list in the doc itself with examples and tips and stuff like that.  I would still keep the old one though just for reference and to have a "printer friendly" version.

The linking and port I/O would involve automated linking features that basically send and get bytes through the link port as well as raw data for perhaps microphones, IR controllers, sensors, advanced sound, accelerometers, electronic circuits, etc.

quigibo, i don't recall this being answered. would an 8x8 sprite be faster or slower than geometry drawing an 8x8 black box?

or TL;DR version ;D (if for example someone just seek info for one or two command and doN't know the name).

I voted geometry drawing, though, since it might make the creation of HUDs and interfaces faster and circles would be nice. Would this feature also integrate faster horizontal/vertical lines?

@nemo
Rect() would be faster for sure.  It's possible that it might be about the same speed if its aligned horizontally though.

EDIT:
@DJ
Yes, faster horizontal and vertical lines would be part of geometry drawing.

YAY! What commands will this be, btw?

Also, I wonder: when running Doors CS7 or Français APPs, will the new tokens still work afterward? (in other words, would there be hook conflict or not?)

As far as I am aware, neither of those applications use the Token Hook so there should be no conflicts.  However, I may eventually use the Catalog Hook to rearrange the catalog which would of course conflict with any Language Localization apps.  Its possible I would need to use the App Change Hook as well which could cause other conflicts.  I will see if its worth all the trouble or not and if there is any simpler way to do it.

Aah ok. I am curious what does Français uses, though, as it changes almost every single TI-BASIC token names accross the entire calc (and swaps Int() with iPart()... stupid Texas Instruments...)

For Français, I would wait a bit, though. It's not a big hurry as long as Silver Shadow won't finish translating the doc in English. In long terms it might increase Axe audience because most french people won't even know a single word of English (as it is not one of the official language in France) and I believe most people use the Français APP there (especially the people with the blue 83+, which has the entire keypad in french)

Another thing is that language APPs adds a new option at the top of the CATALOG, above Abs(): Characters. In there you can easily type strings of text including greek and accent characters.

Shit, didn't see that till after I voted for port I/O... :( If it happens to be a tie between geometry drawing and something else, let geometry drawing win? Lol
