L4+256?
« on: April 29, 2011, 06:39:12 pm »
Just wondering, does Axe use this byte for any purpose? It keeps changing for some reason, and I'm not sure when it does so. It's the cause of a bug in Contra that haunted me for months before I tested it in a different program and found that it changes there, too. Is it reserved for something?

EDIT: Topic locked. If anyone's wondering, see this topic.

But now that that's cleared up, I have a bug report: tempSwapArea should be listed as 256 bytes, not 323, in the Axe command list.
