As you can see in this picture.
I designed that sprite for Jim and I didn't steal it.(I was inspired by the player-sprite out of Blockman for the 83)

The one on the left is of bomberman, the one on the right of blockbreaker89.

don't worry about that.  ;)

I really kinda modified the Blockdude sprite lol, changed its legs so it looked better.  I only made the front/back sprite by myself.  Its kinda my generic arcade character sprite now.  :P

When I started blockbreaker a few years ago it was actually intended to be a blockdude clone.
But then the Ti-Freakware programming contest came along, and I got different ideas, and blockbreaker is the result of that :)

Cool to see the 89 version released! I'll have to try it out as soon as possible. :D

By the way at 100 posts it's even possible to upload files in the downloads section when completed. Eventually that post requirement might be lowered to 20, though, like I recently did with the arcade. Don't forget ticalc.org, though. :P

Also I like your userbar jim. :D

Don't worry, I won't forget to upload it to ticalc.org ;-)
Also, eventually I'll get up to 100 post (we have a misc section for something :p), and then I will definitely upload it here.

>Also I like your userbar jim.
Thanks, I used gimp to get the gradient, and it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be :)

Thanks scout! :D

Now, back to Block Breaker:
If I get the time, I will try to port it to C, and implant many more cool features.
I'm just wondering when I will have that time, as I need to study, study and study  ;)

This is lookin' cool. :)  I don't think the small resolution looks too bad.  Actually, I think it would be possible to port this to the 83/84 calcs in Basic by using text sprites. :D

I see you're from *chan.  I would suggest using the quote button next to someone's post to make better looking quotes, like this one.

No problem, it's just most people won't recognize ">" as a quotation.
