I shot too high, and now I realize that I can't program.  Maybe I'll never program ever again.

 Did you at least start out small, or was this your first project? How much experience do you have?

Looks like a lot of us start out with something we can't handle, quit, find a calc forum, and finish the project.

If DEM has to die, just put it on hold.

it's not gone forever, probably just until the next major vacation.

Radical Pi: you're right, I have no programming experience at all.  I just know too much stuff that is useless.

Almost a perfect example of me. Don't give up, just go slowly, like I am. Make some test programs to see if your overall programming concept is correct. I'm not sure what you can do, just do something. :Dbiggrin.gif

DEM != :rip:tombe.gif
DEM = true

dont give up liazon, i know you can code, just start out small, maybe even a number guesiing game or a random insult generator program to help start up, have you considered trying this?

http://www.etpstudio.com

this is a whole lot easier than TI-89 BASIC.
