Wow, it seems this project is closer to completion then I thought. Great job thus far! I can't wait to see it, I guess I'll be buying a 68k calc sooner then I'd planned
Thanks Super Speler! I never thought of UV as a free advertisement for TI. o.o

The engine is big o.o
altough it must be much smaller than the original version.
Btw i think i found some ultima games on an old abandonware site. I even found WARCRAFT 1 here
Thanks DJ! It is hard to tell which version is bigger. The original UV engine was about 35Kb, however it loaded in code segments (kinda like DLLs) into memory when it needed them. The UV game engine for TI calcs is one single executable -- I am hoping I will not have to use DLLs.
Good site for old games:

Ahoy matey! Keep a good lookout for whirlpools. B)
Whirlpools can suck a ship under and kill the entire party. If your frigate is in tip-top shape, it may be able to survive the event -- I wouldn't chance it though.
I've also heard a rumor of a ship being sucked into a dark underground cavern. Meh... I never listen to rumors.

Working on the dungeon puzzles now.
Their are 8 dungeons each with 8 levels and 16 special rooms. Some of the special rooms require combat and/or a little creative ingenuity in order to find the exit.
So devious and so much fun!
