Well, summer's around the corner and I figured I might as well start planning. I'm thinking about picking up the project again (yes, it's like the
N
-th time already), unless people don't want it to be completed.
Future updates can/will be found
http://liazon.unitedti.org/N/Nhome.html
There may be periodic updates, but don't expect anything major until June.

Yay! The Game was really similar to N, but something actually based on N would be really freaking cool.
Asm, I assume?

yep
I had done some work for 68k earlier, but could use an overhaul. haven't thought to much about the z80 version, but I figure it'll be similar.
I've been kinda busy lately but I hope that changes over the summer.

some, but a lot of redux is necessary on the physics+gfx. the two don't fit as nice as I'd like.
I might upgrade 4x4 mapper to scrolling so I can have the exact same maps as the original. I noticed the current screen space is really small. and that'd actually be an improvement since I wouldn't waste 768 bytes of precious RAM on a predrawn map I copy over every cycle. RAM's pretty precious when you've got an APP.
But would people rather have a map editor on computer and the game be an ION/MOS game? or do people not mind the game and map editor all in one APP package?
I've been kinda busy.

i dont mind if its app or mos, but it would be cool as an app
doesnt take ram at all except appvars.

btw, how are your keys configured? I like to have my jump button on my left hand instead of being the up arrow. i think it makes it easier to coordinate direction changes while jumping.
