Ndless TI-Nspire CX Help
« on: May 30, 2016, 01:12:48 am »
Hey guys!

I'm new here and recently I bought a TI-Nspire CX which has OS version: 3.0.2.1793 and the back of  the calculator ends with "C". In order to install Ndless, do I need to install a higher OS version in order to install and which version of ndless should i install? Also, when looking at the student software all I see is MyLib and examples instead of the root device files.

If anyone can help me with those two things that would be great!!

Boy, are you lucky! A hardware revision less than J is pretty rare these days. I must ask, where did you buy that calculator? ;)
Anyway, you can update to 4.2.0 or 4.0.3 (although there isn't much difference), and install Ndless ( http://ndless.me/ ). If you'd like, you could also install Nlaunchy (https://github.com/Excale/nLaunchy ), a program that allows Linux and many other things, such as converting your non-CAS to a CX CAS! Good luck!

Do not update to 4.0 or 4.2. Install 3.1. You can use Nlaunchy to dual boot 3.1/3.6 or 3.1 CAS/3.1 or 3.6 non-CAS.

I can give you a guide.

Hey, I know I'm not the person who started this thread, but could you send the guide anyway? Dualbooting CAS and non-CAS is something I have been looking - in vain - to do.
