TI-Nspire Linking Software
« on: July 05, 2012, 06:59:13 pm »
How come it's got to be such a pain in the *&# to find? Seriously?!?  :banghead:

I remember back when I could just download the TI-Nspire Computer Link software and use that. But now that doesn't work, and I have to mess around with a free trial of their Student software and reinstall it every 30 days. Is there any less irritating and inconvenient way to send programs to and from the TI-Nspire?

TiLP, if you can manage to uninstall the TI drivers and use TiLP's instead.
Due to dissatisfaction, I will be inactive on Omnimaga until further notice. (?? THP hasn't been much success and there's also the CE. I might possibly be here for a while.)
If you want to implore me to come back, or otherwise contact me, I can be found on GitHub (bluebear94), Twitter (@melranosF_), Reddit (/u/Fluffy8x), or e-mail (if you know my address). As a last resort, send me a PM on Cemetech (bluebear94) or join Touhou Prono (don't be fooled by the name). I've also enabled notifications for PMs on Omnimaga, but I don't advise using that since I might be banned.

You also have TI-Nspire Computer Link.
It doesn't need any license (at least, it didn't ask me for a license) and is especially designed for transferring programs, which means that it is a bit faster than the other official TI Softwares :)
I own: 83+ ; 84+SE ; 76.fr ; CX CAS ; Prizm ; 84+CSE
Sorry if I answer with something that seems unrelated, English is not my primary language and I might not have understood well. Sorry if I make English mistakes too.

Well he was talking about that :P

Also, before 3.2 it was indeed a pain in the ass to find, but they reintroduced it (updated), so it4s on their download pages now anyway.

I prefer TiLP but that's mainly due to the fact I have linux... (and I refuse using any official software other than TI's operating systems)
I'm not a nerd but I pretend:

Yeah they have links to the new (3.2) version however the first search result on google is misleading. It's titled TI-nspire Computer Link Software yet tells you to try the 30 day trial of the TI-nspire Software
