nLaunchy or nBoot, and other questions
« on: August 19, 2016, 10:04:28 pm »
Hello, everyone. Recently, I installed nLaunchy to dualboot CX 4.2 and CAS CX 3.1 on my revision A calculator. Everything was going great (and still is), until suddenly...
OS 4.3!!
nBoot!!
It was only a matter of time until I installed nBoot on my other revision V nSpire CX, but then I got thinking: should I ditch nLaunchy and switch to nBoot (with ControlX) on my revision A, and use all the cool new features (i.e. overclocking without recompiling & 4.3 support)? Does nBoot permit me to load CX CAS as well as normal CX? Can I install nBoot and nLaunchy at the same time? Can I extend the limit of 100MB of storage on my calculator with BtMg and some way to execute arbitrary code?
I am hoping that someone (or more!) could answer at least some of these questions, as right now I am in a state of confusion and amazement of all this new(ish) software. Thank you!

Not to be confused with Harry Truman.

Well, I'm not an expert on neither of these utils, but I'd suggest you ask directly the authors https://tiplanet.org/forum/archives_voir.php?id=12130
They all can understand and reply to you in English. I'm pretty convinced they'll be more than happy to answer some of your queries. Good luck.

Sounds good! Since I have no idea how to contact the developers directly, I'll just ask my questions on the nBoot installation thread, as others were asking their questions there, and most of my questions have more to do with nBoot than nLaunchy. Thanks!
