Ti- Nspire GBA emulator
« on: October 25, 2012, 12:17:17 am »
Hey guys, let me start off by saying this is so cool! I just got a new Ti-Nspire CX and saw there was a Gameboy advance emulator for it, so of course wanted to try it. Unfortunately I am not so great at this kind of thing so I totally messes up. So now I am back to where I started. I have firmware 3.0.2 with nothing added on to my calculator, just factory defaults. So I was wondering if someone would help me out here and give a tutorial on how to install the gameboy advance emulator and all other things you need to have, I saw something about ndless, and overclocking to make it smooth? This is all very confusing to me, but I would love to get this on my calculator. Thanks in advance!

Heya and welcome here. :)

I myself never tried the emulator (gpSP-Nspire by the way), but you need OS 3.1 and Ndless 3.1. For Ndless there are instructions here http://ndlessly.wordpress.com/ndless-user-guide/

There is a link to various OSes there (hosted on TI server) in this link. OS 3.1 should be listed, but make sure to get the .tco file.

Also, do not try this emulator on Halloween day in public. Otherwise, people around you will think it's fake and become scared that you're using a calculator possessed by some evil spirits or something, especially if you play My Little Pony Runaway Rainbow.

Hey thanks for replying so quickly:) and darn I was so excited about showing my friends how I could play My Little Pony :'( hahahaha. So basically I just get OS version 3.1, and then put on ndless 3.1? Then after just put on GPsp- Nspire? There's no special configuring or changing needed? Again thanks in advance :)
