Sorry if I answer with something that seems unrelated, English is not my primary language and I might not have understood well. Sorry if I make English mistakes too.

Perhaps you guys could try the link to the flash game that Jwalker gave? Although it isn't exact the same game.

I'd do it if I knew how to code in C to be able to port that game, but I can only code in Axe. So I don't want to try an addictive game if I can't play it afterwards :P

Nice to see it also exists for other stuff. IMHO since TI calcuklators are in constant battle against mobile devices to keep a decent audience number, it's good if when ports of mobile device games to calcs are done that exclusive features are added or if other stuff get changed so that the new version stand out and attract more people. Otherwise if there is the same game on both Android and TI-Nspire CX devices, people will be more willing to go toward the mobile phone than the bulky calc that lacks sound/phone features since there will be no point in playing the calculator version of the game instead.

Well I'm pretty sure there is a way to get sound out of the cx...
I'm not a nerd but I pretend:

Of course there is. But that would need at least an adapter from usb to 3.5 mm jack. That exists, but no one has it. So I guess no one really bothers making sound on their calc because no one would be able to hear it without an extra cost.

Jim got sound out of the nspire. Don't know if it still is possible though with the updates.
There should be a video of it on youtube.

Sound is possible, with C and ndlessed Lua, but almost no one has the tools to listen to it (dockconnector -> loudspeaker/headphones). And no one has tried USB sound.

The issue with sound is that the CX has no 3.5 mm port and you need to connect two cables in the serial dock at the right place so it isn't really convenient at school or something.

I absolutely LOVE this game, but I don't really see a point with porting it, seeing as me and all my other friends have our iPods with us wherever we go, but maybe for in-school "Tiny Tower-ing" this would be nice.

Exactly, I dont have a phone either, I have an android tablet galaxy S for my whole family and I think it would be nice for math class.

I'm pretty sure that certain schools ban mobile phones from classes or are on the verge to do so, since a lot of students disturb the class while the teacher is talking or text during class instead of working. Since banning calcs would be harder then maybe a calc version makes sense. Also mobile phones are expensive sometimes so some parents who have to buy a calc might not be able to afford the phone (nor the overpriced plans).
