hmm... for some reason, tilp is refusing to send any of the pyrix levels...

You might want to report this in the TiLP thread. I think a few other games had that issue recently.

Well, I am getting it closer to 1.1, but I'm also working on trio and niko's revamp right now.  But it is going along nicely, I've almost got the checkpoint system up and running :D

Bwa, you guys just aren't hardcore enough :) I grew up on games like this. The impossible difficulty is, for me at least, great fun. I hope to see this speed (as an option mebbe? wouldn't want to cause unnecessary aneurysms) in the final game.

I agree personally with justcause, but to get a high ranking, gotta get public approval

:P

And justcause, I'll keep the old speed, but also have a speed that's slower in the easier difficulty.  But to unlock levels they still have to beat certain ones on hard ;)

I think it just depends of people really. I personally grew with Mario, Metroid and that stuff, but I could never get used to the difficulty of some Mega Man games. Even today I have troubles at some games. There's a point where I can't seem to improve my skills anymore. Example: At Starcraft, I've been in the lowest tier league after like 350 games and can barely beat anyone from higher leagues. At Halo, when I played, I lost every game and when my team won, I was always last in kills.
