Title: [TI 83+] Escape (Demo)
Post by: ClrDraw on December 20, 2013, 11:54:23 am
Hey everyone, I'm making a new game!

It's gotten good reviews from beta testing and I've decided to make a demo version available for you all to try. I'm open to suggestions so please tell me what you think. I know the demo only has 16 tests, the real version will be quite larger  ;) I also want to thank squidgetx because it was his game The Psyche (http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=619) that gave me the idea for Escape.

Yeah, I am going to be annoying about this again :P

"TI 84" doesn't exist. There is always a "Plus" or a "Pocket", sometimes followed by ".fr" or "SE", and now even CSE. The CSE being incompatible with the others, it can be a good thing to make the difference between those models, so maybe you should add in your title "except CSE". And if you think "people can make the difference", then look at this topic (http://www.cemetech.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=213644) where someone asks help for a SE while he has a CSE, and even when someone asks "do you have color" he still doesn't precise the color fact and keeps saying "SE" instead of "CSE".

Second thing, I don't know how you coded this game, but if you didn't use the 15MHz mode, it is in fact compatible with the 83+ too, so "TI 84" is even more wrong. The correct thing to say would be "monochrome z80 calcs with Flash memory", but that is not so clear I agree :P
So just "83+/84 (non CSE)" is okay I guess.

I don't think it will let me change it.

You beat me to this, though, because I was gonna suggest a TI-81 STATS Pocket.Fr C Silver Edition port instead :P

Anyway I think you can change the topic title by editing the first post.  Also the game is very interesting. Glad to see a new project from you :D

This game actually looks very challenging. Can't wait to see it come out!
