MLGS old version

Ok, so I think I lost the last version of Nitacku's ditherer program (which he still have) but I still had the older version from the Zetaboard in March here:
http://omnimaga.unitedti.org/4lvgs.zip
Besides the dithering routines it included some examples of how it runs with tilemaps or pictures.
As for now I'm unsure if there are any progress on the ditherer part but hopefully if nitacku passes by he'll post the lastest version. The scrolling grayscale routine will be dropped, because I no longer have a working 15 MHz calculator, so I'll only update the non scrolling version from now on, which is compatible with the 83+ I got from my bro in exchange of my unused Nintendo DS a while ago.

Ah, you lost it!
Alright, here is the latest version as promised.
http://www.mediafire.com/?wkoujqmnzv9
(dj, you can upload this file to your server if you like)
btw, I don't have a readme file created for this editor, but with a bit of experimentation, you should be able to figure everything out. iirc, the only buttons used are f1-f5, 2nd, Alpha, Mode, and Enter (arrows too). If anyone has a question just post a reply or send an email or message to me. I'm also planning on writing a tutorial explaining in detail how to create 4 level grayscale and scrolling backgrounds (not both at the same time! although i can show how to do 3 level grayscale and scrolling backgrounds together). I'll probably throw in a few xlib tricks as well.
nitacku.
(is there no way to attach files?)

Cool thanks for the link. I believe I lost it when I did some cleaning on my desktop (had over 40 files there and i prbly accidentally deleted this version)
I'll enable attachments now I think, but keep in mind they're all gonna be lost when this board merge with the old database, because to merge 3 SMF databases together you have to convert to MyBB, which is the only forum system allowing such things, merge using the merge tool, then convert back to SMF. This process will most likely cause attachments to be lost (I tried). I'll probably purge attachments regulary too, because this new site is hosted on the same account than
http://www.mtv-music-generator.com
, which currently hosts near 600 mp3 attachments and it opened less than a year ago. So try to not rely on the attachments system for your backup purposes too much, keep a copy on your harddrive or other medium in case.

Im definitley gonna check these out. The grayscale is relevant to what I am currently working on. I don't know if I will use this routine, but I want to see how you guys choose to implement it. Thats too bad about the small space for file uploads. Perhaps you could find somewhere that offers a small amount of space that we could use (For mostly calc programs it wouldnt need to be much).

Well it's not that small it's 120 GB, it's because if the site gets active again people might abuse the upload system and fill the webspace with useless crap. What I did now is enable uploads but I setup a size limit (50 KB per files max)

Usually screenshots quality is always lower than on the emu, which, I think, is caused not by the emu but by GIF format compression. Sometimes on other softwares saving a GIF will cause its colors to change. Notice how my screenies seems to be a bit darker than the real calc.
My hope is that the new Wabbitemu will have full Z-Address support, because it still doesn't seems to work fine in Reuben Quest 2 (see the scrolling sea animation before the intro credits). I also wonder if the current build screen captures contrast changes too? Cuz some BASIC games has fade in/out animations using contrast variations.
