I probably won't finish this, because I tend to get distracted from big projects like this, but I'm going to at least START making Lemmings in Axe! :D
Any input/help would be greatly appreciated, especially if you know anything about the details of the gameplay (like what's the maximum drop height they can survive, etc...)
I'll hopefully post screenshots once (or if) I get to that point. :D
Wish me luck!

lemmings ;D
I've never actually played it, but I've played a rip-off with penguins. it's quite fun, and I hope it will be completed!

I forgot to mention, there's a DHTML version that's free to play online: http://www.elizium.nu/scripts/lemmings/ (http://www.elizium.nu/scripts/lemmings/)

I remember playing an assembly version of lemmings off of ticalc at one point, and it was pretty good. Good luck ;D

Or vice-versa, Lemmings is an old amiga game iirc ;)
Good luck with this ;D

This seems interesting. You would probably have to make it a bit different (even if just graphically) than the one on ticalc.org though. Maybe grayscale and smaller sprites, so we can see more stuff on the screen. I'm unsure how complicated this is, though, but good luck if you decide to take on this.
I wonder if it could have some sort of compatibility with the Lemmingz levels on ticalc.org or come with a converter?

Lemmings has always been pretty cool. It'd be nice to see what you can do with an axe version. :)

Well, I'm almost definitely going to use Grayscale sprites for this. Most likely I'll use the sprites from the original Lemmings game (or as similar as possible) and just make them 4 level grayscale.
As for the complexity, I think it'll be fairly difficult, though the hardest part will almost definitely be creating a smooth control scheme.
But before I start on this, I need to finish Mummy. It's almost done anyway...I just haven't been working on it -.-

Good idea. Looking forward to the finished game. :D
