This is not written in 68k but rather in .876k(z80 lol) anyways to the point I was thinking of making an ebook reader for 83+ family and was wondering if anyone would use it.
Description:
Compile book on the computer then send the program to the calculator then use ebook reader to read the stories on the go so you don't have to carry eighty books but one calculator and ebook reader would include a nifty gui like the 68K version with pages and chapters

I know I would use this, catching up on my reading and such.
If there's any way I can help, I'll be glad to participate.

How much text can the 83/84's hold?
I think that that would be a major problem, unless you could use lite8x(or whatever it was called) to compress the files...

Yeah, I guess I have alot of notefilio notes, about 3 moths worth, on there.
IDEA! Usb8x/Msd8x(even thought MSD8x is just a frontend and USB8x has the driver in it)

Precisely. You could use the assembly interface (or even the BASIC one) at usb8x.denglend.net to add support for files off a flash drive. It's as simple as opening the file and reading and seeking wherever and whenever you want.

Srry I haven't been here just problems anyways to answer some questions the TI-83+ can hold technically around 24000 chars in RAM but for ebook z80 it will read the programs from the archive with no need for putting them in the RAM and yes I have started on this project and a type of notefolio will be included in this APP anything else that anyone one wants me to attempt to put in please post it no matter how ridiculous cause maybe I could do it
@Cure: Thanks for the support and yes I may have something that I can't figure out!!
offtopic: If you didnt get that joke in my first post, they called the Motorola processor 68K because it has approx. 68,000 transitors and the z80 only has 876 so that's why it's .876K yea
