These past few weeks I've been working on an RPG.
There are a lot of things going into it, and I'll explain more later, but for now here's a screenshot of the movement system (I didn't make most of the sprites... but yeah).
(Note that when you climb down the ladder on a real calculator it fades to black and then back to a normal contrast).
Next friday I'll post a big update (Oh! The suspense!)

That would be my fault.
I didn't turn the contrast up enough when I took the screenshot :knight:

so is this basic + xlib or something else?
is this a solo project or is this that project you, harrierfalcon and some others were working on?

xLib + Basic (it also used Celtic II). It's a solo project.

Nice looking game! I do have one suggestion though in graphics: when the main character walks on the tiles in the dungeon (I suspect it's a dungeon), he/she/it can sometimes be hard to distinguish from the surrounding tiles. You could modify the tile sprite a bit, or the main character sprite, or both. Best of luck with this project!

That looks good! O_O
Maybe I should get to work on a calculator game
that I've been planning for a few weeks already now. If anyone notices this secret comment I might make a topic on it, but for now I won't because so far anything I've officially declared as one of my projects has died.
for once...
