With how the first game ends there isn't much room for storyline tying in, you know with the whole planet blowing up and sorts... <_<
I think I have a plan but it isn't a very good one (storyline wise) but anyways...
So far I have the EagleEngine working great with the Metroid Maps as they are but here's some basic info about the next Metroid...
Around 72 mapparts with 4 diffrent "zones" noted by the terrain.
The 4 zones will also have 2 enemy types PER zone, and 1 boss for each zone.
There will be a plethorea of powerups such as...
MorphBall - Morph you into a ball for ease of small passages
Varia Suit - Protects against lava
Beam Gun - Stronger gun for stronger enemies
Gravity Suit - This one is fun, this allows you to walk on the bottom of water
...and others!

Any chance of space jump (double jump), spider ball (sticky wall clibing morph ball), and/or spider jump (jump horizontaly infinitely?)
also...could you beef the weapon up, it hitting only one space is anoying

Yay Sprites!!! sry Necro, school bored me a bit... I wonder how I'm going to do the Gsuit and Vsuit sprites?

awesome sprites, will u add samus spinning sprite when jumping and all that stuff from the old metroid you started in metroid 2?

yeah, all the fun stuff... every sprite has a 2 frame animation (except shooting) and you can see that from the virtical comumns, although I have both directions for the MB there hmm?
