Hmm, that's an interesting idea.  I suppose I could, but it would cause a lot more flicker when you ground pound something.  It's an interesting idea, and I'll have to think about it towards the end of this project to see if I'll even have room for it...

I believe you are also participating with this in zContest, right?
That's the plan. :D  I'm actually aiming for a release around Thanksgiving (like Exodus last year), but since this was also the deadline for zContest I figured why not. ;)

Thanks. :)  Let's see.  Elmgon is... waiting for Midnight to stop taking up my Basic development calc. :P  After I finish Midnight I should be able to work on Elmgon again.

Edit: I made a screenie of the game at 83+ speed to show that it's still playable even though it's a little slow.

It's still decently fast for 6MHZ. :D How are the moveable blocks handled? can they be "fired" in 8(up, down, left, right, and diagonals) different directions in respect to where the player is?

Yup!  I use the number pad so they can basically be placed anywhere. :D

I think so. It doesn't look too bad at all. And there are many more TI-84 Plus owners around, anyway.

I'm working on the code for the first boss fight, and it has something I've never been able to make work in Basic ever before: A moving platform.  Yes, you heard me right.  I'm so happy right now, 'cause it actually works. :D
