please dont leave me hanging i tried to build my own and all i got was a playable, glitchy, no ai demo...

Never fear, Bomberman is not dead. Though I have been quite busy lately, after this week, I will have much more time on my hands and I'll sit down and get back to coding it. Sorry for the wait for everyone who has been waiting for this....

Dude...I can't wait for this game to come out.  I have my bomberman on my 89...but since the math department at my school banned 89's, I can't play it anymore.  I NEED bomberman!!!  Good work on this project so far...keep it up!

I made a bit more progress today. I found a huge optimization that makes the delay between pressing a button to move, and the sprite actually moving about half as long. Lovely, lovely optimizations :D As for AI, I'm sorta holding off on that until I can get a good several hours in to find something that works fast enough. AI is one of those things that should take time to create, one that will work quick enough and would be to the difficulty you are looking for. I haven't made a whole lot of progress, just some ideas for AI and cleaning up some of the programs so there's not like 500 different ones. I'm really close to failing Physics, so I've been spending most of my time making that up and working.
