Well to be honest with you, I am not sure if it would be such a good idea. Maybe if the game is massive and huge, but otherwise, I would advise against it. In the past years, everyone kept complaining about how ticalc.org is cluttered with thousands of text-based BASIC games, making it near impossible to find anything there. This was solved by the dividing of directories, though, so for example, all text-based RPGs have to be put in one specific folder. However, since there were so many of them, I don't think a text-based game will spark much interest, even on Omnimaga. Just take a look at Drak's Potterquest game. Almost no one would download and comment, then BAM! on his sequel, everyone is interested because it was no longer text-only.

That's my two cents

Personally, I don't think it would have that much interest. I doubt I'd even give it a glance myself. :( Sorry.

You can make a quick cut-scenes and stuff along the way. If you do that well, and the storyline is good enough, I'll play :)

And do they have battles? if they do, then it sounds a lot like non-linear text based RPGs

Spoiler For funny life mathematics:
1. ROMANCE MATHEMATICS
Smart man + smart woman = romance
Smart man + dumb woman = affair
Dumb man + smart woman = marriage
Dumb man + dumb woman = pregnancy
2. OFFICE ARITHMETIC
Smart boss + smart employee = profit
Smart boss + dumb employee = production
Dumb boss + smart employee = promotion
Dumb boss + dumb employee = overtime
3. SHOPPING MATH
A man will pay $2 for a $1 item he needs.
A woman will pay $1 for a $2 item that she doesn't need.
4. GENERAL EQUATIONS & STATISTICS
A woman worries about the future until she gets a husband.
A man never worries about the future until he gets a wife.
A successful man is one who makes more money than his wife can spend.
A successful woman is one who can find such a man.
5. HAPPINESS
To be happy with a man, you must understand him a lot and love him a little.
To be happy with a woman, you must love her a lot and not try to understand her at all.
6. LONGEVITY
Married men live longer than single men do, but married men are a lot more willing to die.
7. PROPENSITY TO CHANGE
A woman marries a man expecting he will change, but he doesn't.
A man marries a woman expecting that she won't change, and she does.
8. DISCUSSION TECHNIQUE
A woman has the last word in any argument.
Anything a man says after that is the beginning of a new argument.

Girls = Time * Money (Girls are a combination of time and money)
Time = Money (Time is money)
Girls = Money squared (So, girls are money squared)
Money = sqrt(Evil) (Money is also the root of all evil)
Girls = sqrt(Evil) squared (So, girls are the root of all evil squared)
Girls = Evil (Thus, girls are evil)
*Girls=Evil credit goes to Compynerd255*

I love text-based games! :)

But unfortunately, for the reasons mentioned above I don't think it will work very well for the TI. (It will also be hard to have it gramatically correct without taking up a ton of memory.)

yeah size does seem like a issue :/

it somtimes has turn based battle but it is more of a puzzle type game

try lock and key on the site in the first post youll see choose the windows package :P

hmm i think the main difference between these and other textbased games are that these rely on impput form the user in actuall words no menus like a command prompt

and also theyt wer never grammatically correct to begin with as  most of the one i have played are sshort two line phrases like

kill grue

eat dj_omnimaga

open mail

ect

the actuall word base would be based per game as well and if there isnt a word you just display not needed or i dont know that word or that word is not needed to compete "name of the game"
