I'm really sorry to hear that too CDI!

Ebay has some really good deals. Maybe we could start a contribution fund for CDI.

Honestly. We could set up a Paypal account that could accept donations. We could use these funds to help developers when they are in dire straits. :)smile.gif

What do ya'll think?

That is a good idea, I would contribute a few bucks to a worthwhile cause... I don't have much money though.

it's not that :/ it the fact that every time I get close to getting something to show for my efforts it all goes down the drain (the T14v4 battle engine was a fluke)

Dude, I have one word... groups! No one seems to catch on that the 83+ allows you to make backups without connecting to a comp, just make groups of your crucial files!

Except when something goes terribly wrong in an assembly program and it crashes your entire calc, archive as well.  That happened to me twice, causing me to lose all work on 'The Chosen One'.

That is why I have more than one calc, one for projects, the others for gaming... (Heck, I think I am up to 12 calcs now, of varying models...

What are your favorite calcs in order of precedence?

The crash wasn't due to gaming.  It was my futile attempt to learn ASM.  It didn't work out too well as you can see.

I don't know, I really like all the calcs. My fav might be the 83+SE, but that is mainly because that is my calc the I do most of my development on, though I am using the 84+ for my Pokemon game... I just generally like the z80s. :)smile.gif

My current list:

82 83 83 83+ 83+GE 83+SE 84+ 85 85 86 89hw1 89hw2
Projects: AOD Series: 75% | FFME: 80% | Pokemon: 18% | RPGSK: 60% | Star Trek: 70% | Star Trek 83+: 40% | TI-City: 5%
