Has it been that long? Has it really been a year since I started this beheamoth and still have gotten nowhere? I still remember when I started it, I thought "hey! I can make a huge RPG it's not THAT hard..." and went with it. Now almost a year later I have very little to show for it besides hundreds of papers and a handful of games. But it's not that bad really, I have learned a lot from it... I've learned how to use matrx compression (thanks again tr1p, that was just the beginning... who knew?) I also figured out how to use "sub(" and now I'm often referred to when questions are asked about it. I learned how to use most of the matrix, list, and string functions. I've learned how exactally announce projects and release dates, or exactally how NOT to announce release dates. I've learned the power of the HomeScreen, and the drawbacks. I've learned that sprites can be good, if you practice, and GS is easy if you think about it. I've made plenty games from T14, like .T14 Boss Demo and TRPT and plenty of games based on ideas gotten from T14, Card Battle RPG and KB Games Pack. And a lot I haven't even used yet. But most of all, I've learned how important this all is; the programming, the interaction, heck even the checking of forums all contribues... Most of all I've learned that I have an audiance and I should perform for THEM if I'm going to go anywhere, I can't just up and leave without notice and I can't just quit. I've learned a lot over the past year but 2 things are the most important...
-Your friends are your most improtant resource, they don't care if you get the game done, or how it works, or even if it works; they'll like it because it's a product of your labor and in most cases your love.
-No matter how hard it's been, or how annoying, or stupid, or even how depressing it's been... I'd NEVER trade a moment of it and if I had the choice I'd do it all again
