Chances are, you have heard this name before, or T14 somewhere. It's a pretty popular name from what I heard, personally I don't think so, but meh. Basically it was meant to be an RPG to blow RoL and DLQ out of the water (maybe FF:TOM, but prolly not) and has been going onn and off for over a year now. This is v12.3 if you care (v1 being the original) and I am still working on it, from scratch this time, all in ASCII on the homescreen, with the aid of xLIB for some special effects that I may need. It'll be very huge to say the least, I am thinking in terms of the entire 83+'s memory. But we will see, as for some stats on the current version.
1 character to play as, it makes everything easier, and the story more complex.
10 bosses, one for each chapter
Over 250 mapparts (a mappart = 1 screen) to play on
Animated cutscenes, a LOT of them
Full storyline
There is a teaser, found
http://cdi.calcgames.org/CalcStuffs/T14.8xp
and tr1p1ea has a screenshot of it.
There is the storyline from chapter 1 found
http://www.cdi.calcgames.org/T14story.txt
as well.

I downloaded it yesterday but as I was pretty depressed I didnt felt like doing anything at that time so I only went 2 screens above, I liked the battles and the intro btw (better than mines
)
btw at some point I should make a database of all my magic animation and zip them, so ppl can use them in their games (those from illusiat 11 and 12 mostly)

yeah sometimes i got 2 in a row >.< but i guess it can be fixed by having to walk a minimum amount of step be4 getting a battle, like reuben and illusiat (which was 10)
i love those intro

CDI, I enjoy your ascii games a lot. I do not understand completely why you are using xLIB with this though :? , as you could use a different asm lib which is smaller (since you most likely will not be using the sprite routines?). Idk, I like your xLIB theta14 >.> . I still enjoy all of your works, I guess you will be making more use of xLIB with this program

i think he wants to use the xtemp functions, which is very slow with programs like flash gordon and resource. in xlib its almost instant

sound cool, I wish xlib had a feature that copied the LCD content (even homescreen) to a pic,, zapi did that and it rocked cuz I could do some cool stuff with the homescreen in Dark Link Quest

Yeah, the old boss demo was pretty cool, albeit somewhat easy.
