Weird Bottom-of-Screen Glitchyness

This code, when run, is giving me glitchyness at the bottom of the screen, right where the TI-OS puts the x and y coords of the cursor.

That's most likely gotta have to do with the input function. When I played with it, I got all sorts of weirdness, including glitched screens, BLODs, gamma ray bursts er RAM clears, etc.
The function appears to write to a ram area pointed to by A, so you first have to create a temp appvar or so, and make A point at it. (appvars are heaven)
I'm not a nerd but I pretend:

The display occurs after, not before. :p. In any event, I just figured it out. The bottom text was grey, and some of it defaulted to white and some to black when SourceCoder converted it. :p Hence, the appearance.
