of course, I love this site ;)

also, the color one right now is a placeholder I made in MS paint in <5 minutes, I'll use PhotoShop on my school's comp in a week to make a much better one :)

Ah ok. Of course an idea could be to use it as some sort of background for icons in the Prizm apps menu.

Well, I'm most likely going to revamp the color version to look a lot smoother for the arch part (the lettering will remain pretty much the same) tomorrow or in the weekend.

Also, I used the current version of the logo in my Prizm Contest Entry.

Yep :) also, as you guys can see in my signature, I have one specifically for the signatures of DalanianSoftware members... Which happens to include only me right now :P

I think I'd like to make it as an unofficial organization composed of members programming towards the forward goal of creating only the best software they can, releasing only when highly tested and seamless.

In fact, I would love to start some sort of team like that :) I guess I would start with some guidelines:

1 - Must have decent knowledge of common programming language, I.E. C, Python, Ruby, Java, C#, Haskell, etc.

2 - Commit to only releasing software in "final phase" (deemed major version 1.0.(..) or above) after approval of multiple other members of the team

3 - Release software with the DalanianSoftware Logo (of course, don't make it exclusive, showing support for other sites like Cemetech, Omnimaga, Cprogramming.com, etc. are expected if you posted news there or ask for help)

4 - Help other team members with their projects when needed, and if possible, to at least a decent extent if they ask

5 - Help others outside of the team as well, and in return perhaps hint them towards joining the team (not forcibly, of course)

6 - Have a decent resume of previous projects to show in your application email (TBA)

... Any ideas to add?

Add a staff rule, also valid for the root admin, where if someone starts a project under the Dalanian Soft name and midway into development, changes to another platform more than once, he automatically gets kicked out of the team with no chance to return.

Also I would probably recommend against just starting yet another forum, because that might sound like you are trying to steal users from others.

What do you mean by "another platform"? ???

I mean if someone starts a TI-83+ RPG, then a month later he decides that it will be made on the prizm instead, then two months later changes his mind again and make it for the PC, then still can't make his mind and do it on the Nspire instead, that's one great way to tarnish your reputation (and if you're part of a team, the entire team's reputation) as a developer and to no longer get much feedback.

Also another thing is that staff should probably actually be working on something. In the past (like in the Invisionfree site days) Omni had some staff that never bothered to do anything at all.

Well, that first piece of advice I won't follow; if the reputation is tarnished, then it is.

Secondly, I doubt it would have forums, but if I wanted to start one, I will probably do so.
