Feature suggestions
« on: September 17, 2011, 07:55:58 pm »
Thought I'd start a thread here, and for a first post:
  • A sort of console to emulate a single command. I guess it wouldn't be too useful to a lot of people, but I personally need one :D

  • How about taking argument in command-line to send a byte to a port after however many milliseconds? That would cover keypresses, and pretty much operating the entire calculator!

It could be something like this: wabbitemu.exe [PORT] [BYTE] [TIME]ms
  • This is a pretty heavy feature request, but if you ever get around to it: connecting to gCn :D

I very much need a portable version of Wabbit.

Also, the ability to actually open a calc-related file up with Wabbit would be much appreciated.

I thought wabbit is portable - all it needs in the ROM file, which you can easily carry around along with Wabbit.

You can set it to open those files with wabbit, but you'll have to do it manually.

It's a single .exe file—can't get much more portable than that.

Portable means not using the registry to store configuration, so you can use it on multiple computers on a flash drive.

Oh, I'm sorry. Is that why Wabbit "remembers" the ROM when you keep running it from the same computer, but forgets when it's opened from a different computer?
