People of Omnimaga, lend me your ears! And your hands! And your minds! I, JincS, am working on creating a new eZine (electronic magazine, for the ignorant) entitled "Crooked Resistance." I'm looking for writers and articles that you would be willing to contribute to this little editorial. The best part: the articles can be about just about anything! Yes, this is just a general magazine where anyone can come and write about anything they want! Anywho, if you're interested, you can check out the details here on CH (read the whole thread):
http://www.calchaven.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=126
And this is the crappy IF forum I set up as the home of the magazine:
http://z14.invisionfree.com/CrookedResistance
So far, we (or rather I) have four articles posted, ranging from hacker ethics to tapping a phone line. But we are just getting started! The more articles we can collect, the better Crooked Resistance will become! Who knows, maybe in a year or two, we might just have enough articles to publish a hardback book! It depends on wheter or not you decide to take the first step, and go check it out!
Again, if you're interested in getting your articles published, reading other's works, or just meeting some new people, please, stop by and check it out!

I have already talked to xlibman, and he OK'ed this little ad. So please don't scald me for breaking the rules. I feel bad enough already...

Sounds great. Though my texts try to sound philosphic and are quite senseless most of the time, I will take my time to sign up.

Yay! Member #2! Whoopie! Don't worry about whether anything makes sense or not: it doesn't matter too much, so long as you can get the gist of the meaning out of the text.

CalcHaven, Rivereye, Cemetech, Onmimaga...I'm not very active at any of them anymore, since I don't really have the time except for in the wee hours of the morning when I should be preparing to go back to work...

Bumpage...
I give up: there hasen't been ANY activity over at Crooked Resistance forums since the middle of August, and there hasen't been an ounce of effort for anyone else to write an article (excluding BFR, who wrote a fairly decent programming article). Finally, I have very little time now that school has started up to work on these insignificant projects.
Therefore, I am closing the doors to Pero' Thacts/Crooked Resistance Magazine. If anybody would like to take over control, just PM me. First-come, first-serve.
You have 9 hours to contact me. If nobody does by then (9PM PST, 9/21/06), oh well.

I think before you give up on it, remind people that it is here, and also add more areas to chat (you need a place for a general chat). Otherwise, push comes to shove, I can take it over. (but if I do, I will probably intergrate it onto my site).
