Damn, thanks for trying though, Galandros.
I'm guessing I'll just keep the Magic stuff hidden for now just in case we find someone.

There's not much to read at the site yet. =P
(The Rules are just the general forum rules stuff. Nothing important. You know how forums work. =P)
I still need to get some actual writing done. I'm in no rush for now though.
Seto Kaiba needs to open registration for KCVDS before I bother opening RFG.

If you build it they will come... Er um I mean maybe you'll be able to find someone after the site opens up. I'd say have it open but perhaps a bit more free form than the yu-gi-oh section for now. If there is interest and a fair amount of players, maybe you can find someone suitable.

Lol I heard that often when the Montreal Expos were about to leave and become the Washington Nationals. Some bad memories

Hm... good thought, Art_of_Camelot.
I have an idea in mind in that case.
(At first, I was going to complain... but you gave me a good idea of how to manage it.)

Well, for sure, I think your site will need some advertising. The key for advertising: do not do it on sites you don't participate much into. Joining just to advertising is hated even more than spambots. If you're part of some communities you might get some members from there. IN sites you don't participate much into you can always put the link with description in your signature. Youtube advertising also works and Facebook.

Thanks for that, DJ.
Especially the link, I'll get to reading that fully now.
Advertising has always been my weak point.

Same here, the first time I advertised Omnimaga everywhere and it still got like 1000 hits a month at most on front page. I didn't have a forum back then, though (we used the EPS forums)
Before EPS, Omni had a board, though, which got advertised, and I got 60 posts in half a year. It didn't have anything new to offer, though, since I alerayd posted my calc projects elsewhere anyway.
http://web.archive.org/web/20040627225157/http://www.yaronet.com/forum.php?s=462
(all the posts are still on yAronet today, just the board index is gone)
The Invisionfree Omnimaga worked because it offered stuff not avaliable anywhere else in the TI community: project-oriented discussion (mostly) and friendly community. It is still the case today, altough for a while in 2007 it wasn't anymore
