Can pipelining cause issues accessing sites such as SMF on which if you have too many connections you get throttled?
@Eeems: enable pipelining, and disable the extension blocklisting (search blocklist). Adobe has been having some problems with the so called "Flash Update," so Firefox currently requires you to allow flash before loading a plugin.
I'm going to keep it enabled. I only want flash loading if I allow it to.

If you want privacy in browsing for Firefox, here is a pretty good method:Spoiler For Spoiler: Add Ghostery to FirefoxUsing Ghostery, block all trackers and cookies, and set all new trackers/cookies to disabled (Settings>Advanced, After Intro)Add AdBlock Plus to FirefoxAdd Self Destructing cookies to FirefoxUsing Self Destructing Cookies, set cache to clear after 5 minutes of no usage, and enable "Strict Cookie Access Policy"Add Masking Agent to FirefoxMasking Agent helps to prevent new "cookie-less tracking services." Set your OS/CPU to something common.Set a limit to your cache (Firefox settings>Advanced) to the reccomended size.Under privacy in Firefox settings, enable a "Do Not Track" request, enable a custom history plan, and select the data that you wish to clear on browsing exit (make sure you allow this before doing so)Use a Master Password for passwords, or more preferably, disallow the saving of all passwordsFor optional security (may slow browsing down), visit (may be blocked by parental filters), and select a proxy that uses HTTPS, has high speeds, and has a high security levelNo restart is required for any of the extensions above. All services listed are free.Browsing should be just about as fast, and beyond using a VPN, you are as anonymous as you can be.[/font]
Firefox had some issues with some html5 music players for me so I switched to chrome. I just stuck with it.
Switched over to firefox now, after chrome made my computer crash and created a corrupt filesystem.
